Rosary rally
In honor of the anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima there will be a rosary rally at noon in front of the David R. Hourigan Government Office building on Spalding Avenue Saturday, Oct. 13. There will be a Mass immediately after at St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Faithful Citizenship Luncheon
“US Roots:  Religious Freedom” is the topic of the Faithful Citizenship Luncheon to be held from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 16, 2012, in Flaget Hall at the Basilica of St Joseph Proto-Cathedral, 5th and W. Stephen Foster in Bardstown. The presenter is Fr. Patrick Dolan, pastor of St Bernard Clementsville and Sacred Heart Liberty. The event is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Louisville Catholic Charities’ Parish Social Ministry Department and is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served or bring a brown-bag lunch; drinks will be provided. Youth rally
New Beginnings Community Church in Springfield will be having a youth rally at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20, featuring Steadfast and Daniel Cook from Elkhorn Baptist Church in Campbellsville. Everyone is invited.
