11-12 girls softball All-Stars lose first game

The Marion County 11-12 Little League Girls' Softball All-Stars played their first game in pool play Sunday, June 28, in Adair County. They lost 4-3 in extra innings.

They played Tuesday, June 30, against Russell County (scores not available as of press time) and will play against Clinton County Thursday at 7 p.m. and Burkesville Friday at 9 p.m. If they are one of the top four teams in pool play, they will enter a single elimination semi-final, which begins Saturday, July 4.

The finals will be played July 5 if there are no rain outs.
