Christmas Cantata
The Lebanon Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir and choir members from Stewart’s Creek Baptist Church will present their 2012 Christmas Cantata named “Emmanuel, God With Us” on Sunday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Lebanon Baptist Church. The Christmas collection is a combined set of contemporary and traditional Christmas music by various composers. The choir will be accompanied by Associate Music Minister Priscila Dickson on piano and a chamber orchestra of students from Campbellsville University and the University of Louisville.

Karols 4 Kids
Woodlawn Baptist Church will have a Karols 4 Kids Sunday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. There will be singing, gift basket drawings and refreshments. A love offering will be received for sunrise children’s services. Woodlawn Baptist Church members are not eligible for the drawings. Must be 18 or older.

Christmas forest at Gravel Switch United Methodist Church
Gravel Switch United Methodist Church located on Church Street in Gravel Switch is inviting families or groups to help them create a Christmas forest this holiday season. You are invited to bring your own tree and decorate it in honor or in memory of a loved one, a friend, a group or a business. On Saturday, Dec. 15, from 3-9 p.m., the church will hold an open house with food and music showing the forest that has been created by everyone involved. Please call (270) 337-2021 to set up a time to decorate. The public may also view the trees during the church’s candlelight service being held at 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec.23. These trees will remain on display in the church until the first week in January.
