High school come and see weekend
The Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand, Ind. are holding a come and see event for high school girls, freshmen to seniors Feb. 15-17. This is a chance to learn what it is like to be a nun in today’s world. Pray, eat and recreate with the sisters. Black performing arts celebration
First Baptist Church on N. Depot St. will be having a black performing arts celebration from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17. Carrie Stivers from Bardstown will be performing.

Faithful Citizenship luncheon
“Healthcare:  People Helping People”  will be the topic of the Feb. 19, 2013 Tuesday Faithful Citizenship Luncheon discussion noon-1 p.m. at St. Joseph Flaget Hall  Maloney Room, 110 N 5th St., Bardstown. The presenter will be Jan Tronzo, Nelson County Community Clinic. This event is sponsored by Catholic Charities’ Nazareth Office and is free. A light lunch plus drinks will be provided or bring brown bag lunch.

The Golden Girls of Gospel to perform at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church
The Golden Girls of Gospel, a ladies close-harmony gospel group originating in Frankfort, will be singing at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church at 7 p.m., Sunday Feb. 24. The “Girls” started singing together a few years ago as teenagers and are back together again sharing their infectious style of music that celebrates the love of God for His people. Don’t miss this opportunity to be encouraged by experiencing the gospel in song.
