Prayer Day
St. Catharine Motherhouse will hold its monthly Contemplative Prayer Day on Saturday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The day includes contemplative prayer, meditative walks, silence, personal prayer a presentation titled “A Portrait of the Radical Jesus,” a dvd hosted by Huston Smith, Fr. Richard Rohr OSF and Allan Dwight Callahan. A discussion will follow. A tea meditation and blessing concludes the day. Bring a bag lunch. Cost is a donation. Faithful Citizenship Luncheon
“Growing Inequality: So What?”  is the topic of the Faithful Citizenship Luncheon to be held from noon-1 p.m.  Tuesday, March 18, in St Thomas Parish Center, 870 St. Thomas Lane, Bardstown. David Dutschke, Catholic Charities Louisville office, will facilitate. Bad weather policy will follow Bardstown Schools’ decision. The event is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Louisville Catholic Charities’ Nazareth Office and is free and open to the public.  Those who attend are encouraged to bring a brown-bag lunch; drinks will be provided.
