- At 2:07 p.m., the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an injury accident on Highway 208, approximately one mile south of Lebanon. Mary Bostic of Lebanon was driving a 1999 Plymouth van when she said she lost control due to having a seizure. The vehicle struck a guardrail and then exited the roadway, striking several trees. Marion County EMS and Marion County Rescue Squad responded to the scene and had to extricate Bostic and her passenger, James Price, also of Lebanon. Bostic was flown to University Hospital in Louisville by Air Evac and Price was transported to Spring View Hospital. The scene was cleared at 3:30 p.m.
- Wal-Mart reported the theft of three gift cards valued at $500 a piece. The gift cards were cancelled by Wal-Mart.
Thursday, May 5
- Jimmy Alford of St. Rose Road in Lebanon reported the theft of a vehicle battery worth $90, which was removed from his logging truck.
