Mother’s Day celebration
Sherman Chapel AME Zion Church will be having a Mother’s Day message at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 11. Evangelists will be Ruth Ann Fogle and Rev. Roland Puryear.
Faithful Citizenship Luncheon
“Who Owns KY General Assembly?” will be the topic of the Tuesday, May 20, Faithful Citizenship Luncheon discussion. Rev. Patrick Delahanty, Catholic Conference of Kentucky executive director, will be the presenter. We meet from noon-1 p.m. at St Thomas Parish Center, 870 St Thomas Lane, Bardstown. This event is sponsored by Catholic Charities’ Nazareth Office and is free. Bring a brown bag lunch; drinks will be provided.

Come and See Week
The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, Ind., invite single Catholic women ages 18-40 who have ever considered being a nun, to come live the life with us for a weeklong experience June 27-July 3. This Come and See Week will give participants an in-depth look at their life. Those who come will experience prayer, work and recreation. There will also be retreat time for personal prayer and faith sharing.
