Field Day is held
The annual elementary school Field Day competition was held recently.
Some of the winners were Kathy Johnson, David Bell, John Calhoun, Theresa Miles and Martha Taylor.

Caldwell is top hitter
Annette Caldwell is currently the leading hitter in the Marion County Women’s Softball League.
She is followed by Wanda McKay, Linda Porter, Jan Bradshaw, Mary Jo Higdon and Donna Egbert.

Abell, Isaacs win awards

Joe Abell was named The Lebanon Enterprise Male Athlete of the Year and Kathy Isaacs was named the Lebanon Enterprise Female Athlete of the Year.
Both won the award last year.

Athletes are honored
Marion County High School athletes were honored at Spring Sports Award Night.
Some of the award recipients were Shannon Lampley, Michael Gray, Jim Hickey, Libby Murphy, Gloria George and Bernie Livers.

Bees nip Reds 4-3
The Bees slipped past the Reds 4-3 in Lebanon Little League baseball action.
Joel Rakes stroked three hits, including a two-run homerun, to key the victory.
Chris Bradshaw and Jeremy Neireiter had big hits for the Reds.

Pic-Pac routs Bradfordsville
Pic-Pac blasted Bradfordsville 16-2 in the Marion County Men’s Softball League.
Buck Cowherd, Mike Miller and John Bell provided the offensive punch for Pic Pac.
Cowherd and Paul Epps delivered back-to-back triples in key fifth-inning rally.

The annual Marion County Hhigh School athletic awards banquet was recently held.
Some of the award recipients were Joe Kelly Johnson, Gayle Bell, Laura De Robertson, Theresa Sandusky, Joe Miller, Richard Spalding and Corey Means.

Camp is rewarding

Several participants won individual awards at the 1990 Beverly Roby Girls’ Basketball Camp.
Some of the recipients were Paula Blanford, Melissa Campbell, Amy Spalding, Sara Higdon, Tiffiney Mattingly and Lee Potter.

19-and-Under lead league
19-and-Under retained sole possession of first place in the Graham Memorial park men’s Summer Softball League with a win over McDonald’s last week.
Desmond Spalding and Joe Spalding paced the victory with two hits each.
