Aug. 8
- Richard L. Raikes of Sulphur Springs Road reported the theft of two Redmax Weedeaters, valued at $1,050. The Weedeaters were removed from the back of his pickup truck, which was parked on Elmore Street in Lebanon.

Reports from the Lebanon Fire Department

Aug. 8
- At 5:34 a.m., a fire was reported at 1130 Arbuckle Road. Lebanon and Bradfordsville fire departments responded, along with Marion County EMS. According to Lebanon Fire Chief Ricky Mattingly, the residence, which belongs to Jim Kirkland, received some smoke damage. Firefighters cleared the scene at 6:33 a.m.
- At 9:40 p.m., a basement was reported on fire at 365 Bell Hollow Road.
Lebanon Fire Chief Ricky Mattingly said there was no real fire. The problem originally started in a hot tub. Apparently, some bubble bath was put in a hot tub and it caused a malfunction in the hot tub’s motor. Firefighters cleared the scene at 10:17 p.m.
