New health officer
Dr. T.I, Campbell, veteran Lebanon physician, has been appointed temporary health officer at Marion and Taylor counties, succeeding Dr. Genrose DeSimone. The latter, who has held the position since April 1960, has been granted a leave of absence in order to work toward the master’s degree in public health at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Campbell has been a practicing physician in Lebanon and Marion County for 54 years.
