Air Methods, a medical emergency helicopter service, will be setting up a new base in early July at the Lebanon-Springfield Airport. Leslie McKabe of Air Methods spoke with the Marion County Fiscal Court during its May 19 meeting.
"We are proud to come to the Lebanon area," she told the court.
With the addition of bases in Bedford and at the Lebanon-Springfield Airport, Air Methods will have 12 bases throughout Kentucky, McCabe said. By having a local base, they are eight minutes from Lebanon, she said.
