Alberta E. Dawson Hazelwood, 77, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Lebanon after an illness.
She was born on June 2,1935.
She was preceded in death by: her parents,  Lillie McWhorter and Estill Dawson; her husband, James Hazelwood; two sons, Stephen and Ronnie Hazelwood; two brothers, Bruce Mitchell and J.C. Dawson; and two sisters, Fannie Mae Jones and Lucinda Dawson.
Survivors include: four children, Geneva, Linda Ann, Curtis, and James Hazelwood, all of Lebanon; one brother, Warren Ray Dawson of Michigan; four sisters, Thelma and Eve Dawson, both of Wisconsin, and Ann Johnson and Lillie King, both of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon,  with burial in St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Bell, Lloyd “Hop” Faulkner, Bobby Sullivan, John King, Chris Gribbins, and Chester Kabannaugh.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
