“Experimenting with the Arts” is the theme for this year’s Arts and Humanities Summer Camp, which will be held July 14-18.
Sarah Martin and Jessica Floyd will be teaching students about music (instrumental and vocal). These classes will be held at Lebanon Elementary School. Also being held at Lebanon Elementary are art and drama classes, which will be taught by Charles Ramey and Kelli Stanford.
Culinary arts will be held at the Marion County Extension office, along with a class on “where our food begins.”
All classes will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will end at 1 p.m., and lunch will be served. Students eligible for these classes are those entering third grade to eighth grade. A fee of $15 is required; and scholarships are available.
Applications have been sent to all elementary schools for students to take home to their parents to complete. If you did not receive one, you may stop by the Marion County Extension office, the Farm Bureau office or Family Frame Shop.
