Average Crop Revenue Election Program signup deadline is June 1

The Marion County Farm Service Agency reminds producers that June 1 is the deadline for the 2012 Average Crop Revenue Election Program or the traditional Direct and Counter-Cyclical Program. This is a mandatory deadline for all participants and the United States Department of Agriculture will not accept any late-filed applications. It is critical for producers to begin the enrollment process as soon as possible. To date less than 50 percent have been enrolled in the 2012 DCP/ACRE Programs.
