Avritt qualifies for state cross country meet

The Marion County High School cross country team traveled to Bowling Green to compete in the class AA region 2 championship meet Saturday. The team hoped to qualify for state competition, but came up a bit short. However, Morgan Avritt was able to qualify as an individual. Avritt finished 23rd overall in the girls 5k run.
