The Marion County Knights freshmen team pulled the rug out from underneath the Adair County Indians in the 20th district freshman tournament on Jan. 6. The Knights took the win by defeating the Indians, 45-44. Shown is a group photo of the Knights freshmen team after the game.
The Lebanon Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Washington County at the NCAA-MKAC Conference Championship for back-to-back conference titles. The team’s final record on the season was 32-1. Over the past two seasons they have compiled a record of 64-2, losing only to the middle school state champions, each year.
