The Marion County Arts and Humanities Council is planning its third annual Black History Celebration. The event, recognizing the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Lebanon United Presbyterian Church. The program will begin at 4 p.m.
Gary Vidito will present a program from this era with his civil war narrative and music “A Nation Once More.”
Gospel Music will be presented by the adult choirs from the First Baptist Church in Campbellsville, and Holy Rosary Church in Springfield.
