Bocook earns degree

At Centre College’s Commencement ceremony on May 19, Ali Bocook of Gravel Switch received a B.A. degree in history and completed an internship with Boyle County Family Court. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
The College’s 190th Commencement saw the largest graduating class in Centre’s history. Martha Raddatz, ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent and moderator of the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate, was this year’s featured commencement speaker. She received an honorary doctor of humane letters from Centre during the ceremony.
Bocook is the daughter of Tim and Lisa Bocook of Gravel Switch and is a graduate of Casey County High School.
Centre College, founded in 1819, is a nationally ranked liberal arts college in Danville, Ky. Centre hosted its second Vice Presidential Debate on 10.11.12, and remains the smallest college in the smallest town ever to host a general election debate.
