Three members of the Boyle County Fire Department and one former department member confessed to involvement in setting 12-14 fire during the last 18 months, Boyle County Fire Chief Donnie Sexton announced during a press conference July 8 in Danville. Sexton said eight fires are being investigated in Boyle County and five are under investigation in Marion County, according to The Danville Advocate-Messenger. The names of the firefighters have not been released, but evidence will be presented to the Boyle County Grand Jury. A call to the Marion County attorney has not yet been returned.
