Boys take two of three games

The Marion  County Knights boys tennis team was able to play in three matches last week, beating Nelson County and Bethlehem and losing to Elizabethtown.  Their match on Saturday against Casey County was cancelled due to weather. Head Coach Chase Burdette said that these matches made for a good week of tennis for the Knights.
The loss that Marion County suffered was to a strong Elizabethtown team, but in the match, the doubles team of Jacob Burdette and Noah Swencki were able to defeat their opponents to take the top doubles spot in the region.
