Buckler and Lewis marry in Mexico

Julia Buckler and Jason Lewis were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Fairmont Mayakoba Resort in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The Honorable Thomas Lewis of Nashville, Tenn., conducted the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Lesa Buckler of Louisville.  Grandparents are Julia Whitehouse of Louisville, the late C.R. Whitehouse, Lebanon, the late Barbara Baute Buckler, Ormond Beach, Fla., and William F. Buckler of Lebanon. She is the great-granddaughter of Aileen Ferrell of Lebanon.
She is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in marketing and is co-owner of Dressing Room in Louisville.
The groom is the son of Judi Burchard of Lexington and Dr. Norman Lewis of Louisville. His grandparents are the late Tom and Mary Carnes, Lexington, and Norman and Bettie Lewis of Bowling Green.
He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in biology and a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine.  He is a partner with the anestiology group Williams and Wagner at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.
Jacqueline Buckler served as maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Malloree Collins, Frankie Adams, Sarah Boylan, Christy O’ Connell, Rebecca Lewis, Julie Roth and Natalie Whiteside all of Louisville.
Dr. Norman Lewis and Josh Lewis were best men. Groomsmen were Todd Baynahm, Billy Breault, Wade Brittingham, and Ben Isenhour.
A reception was held at Terraza Lawn.
The couple is making their home in Louisville’s Cherokee Park area.
