The Marion County High School Knights football team traveled to Bardstown Friday to take on the Nelson County Cardinals. The Knights led most of the game, with the exception of nearly five minutes in the fourth quarter, and came out on top, 37-27, when the dust settled.
After a slow start in the opening frame, the Knights put up a late field goal by John Southall with 2:10 remaining to take a 3-0 lead in a slow first quarter.
