The Lebanon-Marion County Chamber of Commerce is having a special membership drive.

Businesses that join before Jan. 1, 2011, will be able to get their membership during the rest of 2010 for free and a 25 percent discount on membership fees for 2011.

As a member, businesses and their employees are eligible for numerous benefits, including participation in the J-Plan Plus insurance program, ChamberAdvantage insurance program, Auto-Owners Insurance discount program, Office Depot discount program and discounted Paychex services.

Members can also participate in the chamber gift check program. The gift checks are sold to businesses to give to their employees as bonuses, incentives or gifts.

Also, chamber members can participate in the "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" events that are held the third Thursday of every month at 5:01 p.m., at one of our local restaurant establishments, and the monthly luncheons.

Anyone interested in joining the chamber should call Stacy Mattingly at the chamber at (270) 692-9594 or go to the chamber's website at www.marioncountykychamber.com.
