Christmas events coming up

Christmas events will be easy to find in the coming weeks in Marion County.

The Heart of Kentucky Holiday Festival incorporates a number of activities:

- The Loretto Christmas Parade will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday. A tree lighting will take place in Carl and Lisa Mattingly's lot beside the post office at 5:45 p.m. The parade will start at Loretto City Hall and end at the car wash. After the parade, refreshments will be served at city hall, where Santa will be meeting children and posing for pictures.
