Chibundi holding services at Spring View chapel
The Rev. Lawman Chibundi, pastor of Rabbouni Catholic Community, an independent catholic parish based in Louisville, will be having a Sunday morning service at every Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Spring View Hospital chapel. Fall festival
New Beginnings will host a fall festival at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is invited for free food, fun and fellowship. There will be a chili cook-off contest and a costume contest (no scary costumes allowed.) There will also be games and prizes for the kids.
Pastor appreciation
First Baptist Church of Lebanon, located on North Depot Street in Lebanon, extends an invitation to attend their pastor's 22nd appreciation at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14. Guest speaker will be Rev. L. Henry from Santa Fe Baptist Church in Columbia.
Faithful Citizenship Luncheon
"Kentucky's Energy Crossroads" is the topic for the Nov. 16, Tuesday Faithful Citizenship Luncheon, from noon to 1 p.m., in the Basilica of St Joseph Proto-Cathedral's Flaget Hall at 5th and W. Stephen Foster Blvd. in Bardstown. Tom FitzGerald, Kentucky Resources Council will be the presenter.
Participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks will be provided. This event is sponsored by Catholic Charities Catholic Identity and External Relations Division.

Contemplative Pray Day
November's monthly Contemplative Prayer Day will be Saturday, Nov. 20, from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at St. Catharine Motherhouse, two miles West of Springfield on KY 150. Focus of the day will be on Centering Prayer and a presentation on the Mystic: Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and His Mystical Prayer by Sr. Marina Gibbons. Bring a bag lunch, drinks provided.
