Monday night, the city council unanimously approved the second reading of an ordinance prohibiting parking within 25 feet of the intersection of North Street and West High Street.
The council also voted to prohibit parking on the north side ML King starting at Spalding Avenue and moving 300 feet toward Harrison Street. The purpose of this prohibition is to allow traffic flow on the road between the David R. Hourigan Government Building and the Marion County Judicial Center, which is scheduled to open Monday, Aug. 15.
