Nancy Miles has a suggestion for anyone who is interested in old barns, landscapes or quilting. On the next nice sunny day, consider traveling Marion County’s barn quilt trail.
“I’ve lived here all my life, and I’ve been to ends of the county that I didn’t even know existed,” she said.
Miles helped paint some of the 8-foot-by-8-foot patches herself, but she’s been impressed with the variety of the patterns around the county.
And she thinks you’ll be impressed, too.
