County office closings for the New Year

Tuesday, Jan. 1, is a holiday for all county employees, and as a result, there will be no garbage pick-up that day.

The normal Tuesday route will be picked up on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Since both the Tuesday and Wednesday routes will be picked up that day, residents are encouraged to put their trash out earlier than usual.

The County Clerk's office and the PVA office will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 29, through Tuesday, Jan. 1. The offices are closed Dec. 29 and 31 due to the shutdown of the state AVIS system, and on Jan. 1 for the county holiday.
