County offices closed for Fourth of July

-A A +A

The Marion County offices in the David R. Hourigan Government Center will be closed Thursday, July 4, for Independence Day.

The Marion County Clerk's Office, Marion County Judge/Executive's Office, Marion County PVA Office, and Marion County Sheriff's Office will reopen July 5.

The sheriff's office will continue to respond to calls, but they will be routed through the Lebanon Police Department dispatch, (270) 692-2121.

The Marion Circuit Clerk's Office, located in the Marion County Judicial Center, will also be closed July 4 and reopen July 5.

Because Thursday is a holiday for county employees, there will be no garbage pick-up that day. Instead, the county sanitation crews will pick up both the Thursday and Friday routes on July 5. Because Friday will be a “double up” day, county residents are encouraged to put their garbage out earlier than usual that day.
