Several county offices will be closed for the Fourth of July holiday, and the county will not pick up trash that day.
Marion County Judge/Executive John G. Mattingly announced that the offices in the David R. Hourigan Center will be closed Wednesday. These offices are the Marion County Clerk's Office, the Marion County Judge's Office, the Marion County PVA Office and the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office will respond to calls, but they will be routed through the Lebanon Police Dispatch (270) 692-2121.
Because county workers will have the day off, there will be no trash pick-up on Wednesday. Instead, the sanitation workers will run a double route on Thursday, July 5.
Individuals who normally have their trash picked up on Wednesday or Thursday are asked to put their trash out earlier than usual on July 5.
