County offices will be closed for Election Day

Marion County Judge/Executive John G. Mattingly has released an announcement regarding the Election Day schedule for county offices.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4. Many county offices and services will not be available that day.

No garbage will be picked up Election Day. The Tuesday route will be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 5, along with the regular Wednesday route.

The Marion County Clerk's office will be open on Election Day, but the public should be aware that the office will be "extremely busy" with election activities.
