The Marion County Fiscal Court has given its initial approval to proposed changes to the magisterial district boundaries, but there may be a few more adjustments before the changes become official.
At the Sept. 15 meeting, the magistrates voted 4-0 in favor of the first reading of an ordinance setting the new boundaries. Magistrate John Arthur Elder III was not present at that meeting.
