Marion County has been approved for a $71,795 grant from Homeland Security.
The Marion County Fiscal Court approved a budget amendment to include the grant funds during its July 7 meeting.
That grant will be used to purchase portable radios and mobile data computers for emergency services, according to County Treasurer Kevin Cochran.
