Crum-Cox selected to attend Chicago Teacher Institute

-A A +A

Local art teacher Susan Crum-Cox has been accepted to attend the Teacher Institute of Contemporary Art (TICA) at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this summer.
Each summer, the Teacher Institute at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago offers a diverse group of art educators from across the country the chance to come together for an unparalleled and inspirational educational experience. In addition to daily studio sessions, participants engage in dialogue about contemporary art theory and practice and have rare one-on-one interaction with leading contemporary artists and museum educators.
One of the goals of the Institute is that teachers will share this new knowledge with their students when they return to their schools. Crum-Cox teaches art at Marion County High School
TICA is offered at no cost to accepted applicants and is funded by a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
