Two horses are dead and a Marion County Deputy Sheriff's cruiser is totaled after a one-vehicle accident on Sunday evening
The collision occurred at 8:53 p.m. on KY 49, approximately three miles south of Lebanon.
Marion County Sheriff Deputy Tim Abell, 48, of Lebanon was driving a 2007 Crown Vic police cruiser north on KY 49 when he came around a curve and struck two horses, which were in the roadway. Abell was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.
