A Southern Baptist disaster relief team from South Carolina is in Marion County today to assist with removal of tree limbs throughout the county. Steve Chrisman of the relief team spoke with the Marion County Fiscal Court yesterday. He said the team will focus first on assisting the elderly and people with disabilities. The team members are willing to help anyone, but they start with those who have the greatest need for assistance. Chrisman added that their service is free. There is no charge for them to help.
