The Knights and Lady Knights begin the real season this week as tournament play tips off in Adair County.

The Knights (8-21) face off with top seed Adair County (22-6). Adair owned the season series winning both games (58-41, 57-39).

Adair went undefeated in regular season district play, going 6-0. They are 20-3 in district play since 2006-07 season.

The Knights are 4-17 over the last three seasons in district play. They finished regular season district play winless at 0-6. Records dating back to the 1997-1998 season indicate that the Knights haven't finished winless in district play in over a decade.

The Indians are going for their third straight district tournament championship. Marion County is looking to win their first district tournament since 2000. They're also looking to emerge from the first round for the first time since 2005.

The winner of the Marion County and Adair County game will face the winner of the Campbellsville and Taylor County game on Saturday night in Adair County at 7:30 p.m. EST.

Tip off for the boys game on Wednesday is 7:30 p.m. EST at Adair County High School.

The Lady Knights look to win their third straight district tournament title after running the table in regular season district play.

The Lady Knights won district games by an average of 34 points, with only one game settled by less than ten points.

In their season match ups, the Lady Knights easily dispatched Taylor County (70-34, 69-26).

The Lady Knights tipped off Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. EST against Taylor County. The winner of that game will face either Adair County or Campbellsville on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. EST.
