Elder has a hot week

Marion County High School junior Joseph Elder ended a great week on the course Saturday after 22 holes at Rosewood Golf Course during the third annual Marion County Invitational. Elder finished 18 holes with a 72, tied with Boyle County's Dakota Jarman. It took four playoff holes for Jarman to finally catch a break on the ninth hole and birdie putt for the individual tournament title. "Both players had two putt pars on the first hole," Knights Head Coach Freddie Leathers said. "Joseph had a 12-footer to win on the second and an eight footer to win on the third.
