On June 5, an employee at Kentucky Cooperage received broken bones in his hand as a result of an accident involving a conveyor belt.
Barry Shewmaker, the plant manager for the cooperage, confirmed that an employee was injured last week. Shewmaker said he could not release the employee's name at this time, but the injuries were not life threatening.
Shewmaker added that they are expecting the employee to make a full recovery.
