Enterprise wants to show off your best photos

A picture is worth a 1,000 words, and could be worth a prize or two during The Lebanon Enterprise's photography contest.

The Lebanon Enterprise will begin accepting potential award-winning photographs from our local readers this week. Each entry (photograph) will cost $10 and all of the proceeds will go to the Girls on the Run Program, a program for girls age eight to 13 years old. The program combines training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goal of the program is to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development.

Only amateur photographers are allowed to participate in the contest.

Monday, Aug. 15 is the deadline to enter photos and the winning photos will be published in the Aug. 24 edition of The Lebanon Enterprise.

 Prizes will be awarded to the to the first, second and third place winners.
