Epps will try out for USA team

Marion County High School Lady Knights standout point guard Makayla Epps recently received an invitation to participate in team trials for the under-16 USA Basketball team.
The try-outs for this 12-member team will be held from May 26-30 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The USA Basketball Developmental National Team Committee asked approximately 30 athletes to receive an invitation to attend the trials. Other athletes will be allowed to try out by submitting an application. Due to space limitation, a maximum of 200 athletes will be permitted to attend the trials.
