Fairground Road transfer station not accepting brush

The Marion County Waste Transfer Station will not be accepting brush this week or next week, according to Marion County Solid Waste and Environmental Coordinator Keith Brock.
During this time, contractor equipment will be on site to grind brush for waste-to-energy conversion.
The transfer station will resume brush staging on June 18.
