Fewer school employees, services likely in 2009-10

Money may not be everything, but it sure helps.

When the Marion County Board of Education puts together its 2009-10 budget, it will be doing so with expectations of less revenue than this year.

The Marion County Schools leadership team presented a list of recommended budget cuts to the board of education March 10. The leadership team includes Superintendent Roger Marcum, the central office staff and the principals of the seven schools in the district.
