Lebanon firefighters responded to Lebanon Auto Repair on Woodlawn Avenue Friday evening after a fire was observed at the business.

The fire was reported to the Lebanon Police Dispatch at 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Firefighters suppressed the flames at the auto repair shop before 8 p.m., but smoke was still visible.

Lebanon Fire Chief Ricky Mattingly said four cars were inside the garage at the time of the fire, two of which belonged to the owner, Ricky Wheatley, and two of which belonged to other people.

Mattingly added that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
