County officials are anticipating more than $14 million in revenue and expenditures during the 2012-13 fiscal year, according to the second reading of the proposed budget, which was approved at the June 21 Marion County Fiscal Court meeting.
Under the approved budget, the county is anticipating more than $6 million in general fund expenditures, more than $2.5 million in its road fund, nearly $4.2 million in the jail fund, $84,000 in the LGEA fund, more than $1.1 million for the EMS fund, $19,700 for the Rescue Squad, $9,300 for Marion County Public Properties, and $100,000 for the National Scenic Byways fund.
In other business:
- The fiscal court approved $25,000 toward an indoor batting cage at the Graham Memorial Park.
