Fiscal court has limited supply of radon test kits

The week of Oct 17 is Radon Awareness Week. The Marion County Fiscal Court has a limited supply of short-term radon test kits available to residents of Marion County. The test kit is offered free of charge, while supplies last. Keith Brock, Solid Waste and Environmental Coordinator will be available after testing is complete for consultation and interpretation of test results. Test kits may be picked up at the office of the County Judge Executive at the David R. Hourigan Government Office Building at 223 N. Spalding Ave., Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. till 4 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m.
