Fiscal Court names reapportionment committee

During its May 5 meeting, the Marion County Fiscal Court appointed the members of the reapportionment committee. Carroll Kirkland, J.B. Thomas and Donnie Thompson will be looking at what adjustments may be needed to the magisterial district boundaries.

Every 10 years, a reapportionment committee determines if any changes are needed to the magisterial district based on the most recent Census.
