Florida man ordered to repay $24,000 in theft case

Stephen Hruska, 53, of 139 Holland Road in Ormond Beach, Fla., received five years of pretrial diversion on a charge of theft by failure to make required disposition of property more than $300. He has been ordered to pay $24,000 in restitution to Donald Cook of Allegan, Mich.
- Timothy R. McCarty, 31, of 390 Hourigan Lane in Lebanon pled guilty to cultivation of marijuana five or more plants, first offense. His sentencing has been scheduled for March 8. A charge of second-degree persistent felony offender was dismissed.
