Francis Oliver Porter, 74

Francis Oliver "Frank" Porter, 74, Lebanon, died April 26, 208, after an illness.

Born Dec. 14, 1933, Porter was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, George Ohrious and Helen Hayden Porter; a son, John Michael Porter; two daughters, Cheryl Porter and Frances "Frankie" Michelle Porter; a brother, Joseph "J.L." Porter; and a sister, Mary Beatrice Washington.

Survivors include: his wife, Louise Porter of Lebanon; five sons, James Linton and James Porter, both of Lebanon, Richard Porter of Indiana, Kenneth Protter of Lexington and Robert Porter of Arizona; six daughters, Veronica Christian and Connie Porter, both of Louisville, Donna Porter of Lebanon, Barbara Pass of Taylorsville, Regina Geronimo-Porter of Bardstown and Mariam Porter of Arizona; two brothers, Thomas A. Porter of Campbellsville and Neal Porter of Lebanon; four sisters, Susan Yocum, Josie Spalding, Nannie McKay and Margaret Spalding, all of Lebanon; 27 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held April 30 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon, with burial in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chad Hood, Tony Yocum, James Wright, David and Kevin Porter and Tim Buckle.

Mike Montgomery was an honorary pallbearer.

Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of the arrangements.
