The Marion County High School boys' soccer team took most of last week off to heal up for postseason play.
Their lone game was a 5-0 loss to Franklin County under a harvest moon at Elmer J. George Field Thursday.
According to Knights Head Coach Greg Conley, youth was on display once again.
"It's a young team," he said. "We just can't put together 80 consistent minutes. We can play with anyone for a half."
The Knights did hold Franklin County to only one goal in the first half. The second half didn't go as well.
"We didn't come out with same energy or enthusiasm," Conley said.
The Knights hosted Central Hardin Tuesday at home. Results were unknown at press time. They host Meade County Thursday at 7 p.m. Seniors will be recognized as part of senior night.
John Hardin comes to town Saturday at 7 p.m. for the final home game of the season. The Knights wrap up the regular season Tuesday at Berea at 6:30 p.m.
